Will the Parental Rights Amendment Promote (or Restrict) Abortion?

Section Four clearly states that the PRA does not apply to a "decision that would end life." This means that the legal balance in teen abortion cases will remain precisely where it is now; the Amendment will have no effect in this area of law.

Courts consistently hold that the daughter's parental rights over her unborn baby equal and offset the parental rights of her own parents over her. Nothing in the Parental Rights Amendment will change this balance.
